On March 30, 2016 Red Bluff shoppers enjoyed the grand opening of the new Walmart Supercenter. Nearly double the size of the previous Walmart at 182,000 square-feet of retail space. The new Walmart is expected to bring 160 new jobs to Red Bluff. Many Red Bluff residents are glad to see the new store finally opening but some residents are not so thrilled. Some small and mid sized businesses brace for the impact of the new Walmart Supercenter.
It looks like this might be headed to Kool April Nites.
Subway opened inside of the new store. The previous Walmart has been without a fast food restaurant for several years since McDonald’s closed its store there.
The new Walmart Supercenter features a new grocery department including fresh produce.
